Trunk or Treat pictures!

Trunk or Treat (October 30)

We will be having a "trunk or treat" outreach to the McCalla area on Saturday evening October 30.  Trunks will be opened and decorated and the community can come out to each of the cars and hunt for candy while speaking with members about the new church. This will be a great time in the life of our church!

Next Vespers Service Scheduled

Our next Vespers service will take place on September 26, Sunday evening at 4:00 PM.  See you all then! More to come.

Vespers Service (August 29, 2010)

Our first Vespers service at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church was a great time of worship, scripture reading and thoughts about the mission of the church.  The service included:

Joshua 4:1-7

The reflection centered on the mission of Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian
as a church plant of First Presbyterian Bessemer and a part of the enduring
mission of the church to proclaim the risen Christ. We look forward to the future
vespers services and the ongoing mission of this ministry.
